You know when you get to that age when it seems that all of your friends are getting engaged, married or are having babies? Let’s talk about the main event surrounding the latter, the “baby shower.”
Google “baby shower party games” and you will find so many ideas ranging from the cute, to the, well disgusting. Maybe you have even organised or attended a shower with some of these games.
For years ladies have got together with their girlfriends to gossip over afternoon tea, or to play some cute, and well potentially disgusting games to prepare the mother to be for what she has ahead.
In recent years, though, the trend is to get the men involved. Whilst there might be a bit less gossiping, the men can definitely get competitive with the games! I mean who doesn’t want to prove to their girlfriend that they will be the best dad 🙂
But, have you heard about the new(ish) trend of the “man shower” or “dadchelor party.” A completely separate baby shower for the guys. The girls can still gossip and the guys still get to celebrate. Type it into Pinterest and you will find numerous games, including how to make a pool noodle light saber…
